A few features from Go that can make things better and help preventing certain class of bugs:

* no parentheses for if/switch/for, and mandatory {}, no semicolons

* fallthrough in switch

Also some sweet features like

* replace while with a generalized for

* struct methods

* multiple return values (this might be a stretch)

* if with variable definition (if x := y; x<z { ... } )

* not sure if it already has but type inference
